Oatmeal Blueberry Yogurt Pancakes

How To Make It:

Healthy Pancakes made in the blender with oatmeal, yogurt, banana and an egg! Easy to make, filling and high in protein!

Ingredients: Vegetarian, Gluten free

Produce: 1/2 Banana, medium ripe   1/3 cup Blueberries, fresh or frozen

Refrigerated: 1 Egg

Breakfast Foods: 1/2 cup Rolled oats, gluten free

Baking & Spices: 1/2 tsp Baking powder 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Dairy: 1 container Siggi’s blueberry or vanilla bean yogurt

 Whole Grains

A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that dieters who ate 5 servings of whole grains daily for 12 weeks lost twice as much stomach fat as those who ate refined carbs.  The researchers credit the higher fiber in whole grains for the significant reduction in belly fat.
